'Greening The Cube: 100-Mile Housing' Comes to Revelstoke Wednesday, November 4th.
Rossland-based filmmaker Tyler Austin Bradley will be bringing his feature length documentary on green-building to Revelstoke Wednesday, November 4th.  The film follows the efforts of two Kootenay-Boundary based green builders as they strive to build homes that are affordable, ecologically responsible and/or sustainable.  A blueprint for '100-mile housing' emerges, inspired and informed by the local eating treatise "The 100-Mile Diet."  The concept is spread far and wide, throughout the region and beyond.  Appearances in the film include Professor William Rees (Ecological Footprint Analysis), James MacKinnon (The 100 Mile Diet), and others.
The film will be shown at The United Church (Mackenzie and Third Street), with tickets available at the door.  Tickets are $8 for North Columbia Environmental Society (NCES)members, or $10 for non-members.  Doors will be open at 6:30pm with the show commencing at 7pm.  A question and answer period will follow.
